Detailed description
The draft amendment proposes to amend clause 5.7.1 Zone Intent and insert new Note (b) in clause 5.7.5 Table of Uses in the Port zone, to allow for discretionary use or development for Restaurant, Community Building, Local Shop and Tourist Operation at 16 Esplanade, Whitemark. The amendment will enable an existing shed adjacent to the Whitemark wharf to be refurbished and used for a multi-purpose commercial centre.

The permit provides for a mixed use development (tourist operations, restaurant, community building, local shop, office and distillery).
